Introducing The Kitchen Table: The Restaurant Reviving the Space Previously Occupied by Vinegar Jim’s

Brad and Alicia Glover are a married couple who have been together for almost 10 years. They met while working at Macaroni Grill and have been friends ever since. Together, they have three children: Dylan, Gemma, and Maren. Both Brad and Alicia have a wealth of experience in the restaurant industry. While Alicia has moved on to become an insurance agent, Brad has stayed in the industry and has held a variety of roles over the course of his 25-year career, including server, bartender, chef, manager, executive chef, and general manager. They have a strong understanding of the ins and outs of the restaurant industry, which will no doubt contribute to their success.

I love to cook, it’s how I share my love.

Starting their own restaurant has been a lifelong dream for Brad and Alicia. Throughout his career, Brad has had the opportunity to work with some amazing colleagues and bosses, but the desire to be his own boss has always been there. He credits these experiences with helping him grow as a restaurateur and develop his skills in the industry. Brad has a passion for cooking and sees it as a way to share his love with others. “I love to cook, it’s how I share my love.” He also enjoys bringing people together and realized that he could do this on a larger scale by starting his own restaurant. When the opportunity presented itself, Brad and Alicia felt it was meant to be and saw it as a sign from above. The stars had aligned and it was the perfect time for them to turn their dream into a reality.

We want people to come in with their family. We want girls nights, guys nights, football teams and soccer teams. We want to just make everyone happy with food. We want people to eat, play, and enjoy everyone’s company.

Brad and Alicia’s new restaurant, The Kitchen Table, will offer indoor and outdoor dining options in a fun and lively atmosphere. They will have games like corn hole, ladder golf, and lawn darts available for guests to enjoy, and will offer a picnic menu for those who want to eat while playing. For those looking for a more traditional dining experience, the restaurant will also have a full menu available inside. The food concept at The Kitchen Table is elevated southern cuisine, featuring classic dishes with a twist. They are excited to bring their unique take on southern favorites to their guests.

One of the things that will set The Kitchen Table apart from other restaurants is the attention to detail and dedication to creating a memorable dining experience for their guests. Brad and Alicia are well aware of the love and dedication that the previous owners of Vinegar Jim’s had for their food and community, and they want to embrace that same spirit at their own restaurant. To make their guests' experience unique and memorable, they will offer live Caesar salads made at the table and cotton candy for the kids. These fun touches add a personal touch to the dining experience and get families involved in making their own dinner. The cotton candy is also sure to be a hit with the kids, giving them something to look forward to after they finish their happy plate (with the permission of their parents, of course).

Brad and Alicia’s restaurant, The Kitchen Table, will serve a variety of delicious dishes to satisfy all types of cravings. One menu item that is sure to be a hit is the Louisiana crawfish lasagna, which features a creamy Cajun sauce, peppers, onions, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. For meat lovers, they will offer a hickory smoked meatloaf served with garlic truffle mash potatoes and homemade brown gravy. And for those who crave a classic steak dinner, The Kitchen Table will also have a mouthwatering ribeye on the menu. These dishes showcase the elevated southern cuisine concept at The Kitchen Table and are sure to delight guests with their bold flavors and expert preparation.

Brad and Alicia are planning to open their restaurant at the beginning of February. They are working hard to ensure that all the details are taken care of and that everything is running smoothly before Valentine’s Day. They want to provide the best possible experience for their guests, and opening at the beginning of the month will give them time to work out any kinks and make sure that everything is ready for a successful launch. Once they have opened, The Kitchen Table will be open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.

The Kitchen Table will soon be hiring employees to join their team. If you are interested in the opportunity to work at this exciting new restaurant, please reach out to Brad at brad@thekitchentablearlington.com. When applying, please include your resume and good contact information so that Brad and his team can get in touch with you. The Kitchen Table is looking for talented and passionate individuals to join their team, and they encourage anyone who is interested in the opportunity to apply.
